Interested in working with a fun and talented group to produce an award-winning publication?

For Fall 2019, our 3-week comp will run from Sep 17 to Oct 4.

Tuesday Magazine welcomes students of all backgrounds. We've always been a platform for fresh, contemporary voices. We hope you'll join us!

We accept new members each semester through a completion-based process that allows compers to get to know each other while becoming familiar with the operations of our boards (Fiction, Poetry, and Design & Art.)

We offer many unique opportunities:

  • Hit the ground running: Tuesday's comp process allows you to be involved in magazine production the very first semester you comp. Guaranteed.

  • Less classroom, more magazine: join a magazine, not a fifth class. We cut straight to creating a magazine together.

  • Creative freedom: we entrust board members with full editorial discretion. See board descriptions (on right).

FALL 2019: Comp September 17 - October 4. Please fill out this form to join our mailing list and receive updates on staff meetings.

About Our Boards

Editorial (Fiction, Poetry)

Got a passion for prose or poetry? Not only do we recruit and select pieces for publication, but each board member also has the opportunity to gain practical experience by individually editing an accepted piece with a writer (one-on-one editing), in a genre of their preference. Plus, we get free snacks. If you're interested in discussing and editing original fiction or poetry, we hope you’ll join us!

Design & Art

We’re seeking Harvard undergraduates with an artistic eye and passion for design to help us amplify the visual art in our community. Board members discuss submitted visual works and pull together a visually stunning magazine. Sometimes, our members are also artists who submit their own pieces for publication, although this is not a requirement. Some of our other activities have included art auctions on campus, trips to art venues in Boston, and an Arts First visual art exhibit.
